Schedule and Availability
Curios & Notions operates on a flexible, seasonal schedule. Because this is a working studio, shop hours, classes, and readings are planned around active making time.
Current Open Studio Days:
November 5, 7, 10, 14, 19, 21, 24, 26, 28–30 (11-4 PM)
December 1, 3, 6, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 24 (11-4 PM)
December 26–January 1 (5-7 PM), Kwanzaa celebration
Divination appointments at 2:00 PM on Fridays in November.
KEX Freestore Donations can be dropped off Wednesdays between 11 and 4 PM or by special appointment.
The THIRD Wednesday of every month from 11-1 PM, (November 19 and December 17, 2025) I invite anyone interested to help mend, organize or assist with freestore needs!
Private readings, classes, and consultations are scheduled by appointment. Email julia@curiosandnotions.com to arrange a time.

November 2025 my focus is on expansions that feel like rebirthing. The store, my body and social commitments are changing rapidly and I’ve decided to embrace ritual and community as constants.
I’ll be facilitating a workshop on Felting with Fiber, November 8 at NOON. Our First CURIO SWAP is November 28, the day before SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY, November 29, 2025.

Divination & Chart Sessions
Readings are available by appointment on Fridays this month. Options include tarot, runes, oracle, and chart-based sessions.

Walk-ins may be possible on open studio days if time allows.
Freestore & Community
The Kickapoo Exchange Freestore (inside Curios and Notions) is stocked with clothing, books, home goods and crafting supplies. Please bring only clean, usable items. We will mend and repurpose items as possible.

This month’s focus is on ENERGY CLEARING. Please help me move the pieces around and prepare to store the Spring and Summer clothing off-site.
Looking Ahead
December will bring expanded open hours and our annual Kwanzaa Week celebration, December 26–January 1 from 5 - 7 PM for each of the SEVEN nights of Kwanzaa.
