HOLD THE LINE!

Community Care, Defense, and Shared Responsibility

Curios & Notions is opening its doors wider, and with that comes responsibility. Harassment and boundary-pushing happen, and if only a few people handle it quietly, it burns them out and leaves the space unsafe.

Hold the Line turns lived experience into shared tools for noticing harm, responding together, and protecting the space we all rely on.

This is not about policing, judgment, or confrontation. It’s about coordination and collective responsibility. When harm shows up, whether misogyny, transphobia, homophobia, or class-based bullying, we act together so no one carries the burden alone.

Who this is for: anyone who spends time here and cares about the space: artists, makers, shop staff, volunteers, teachers, and community friends. You don’t need the “right” words — just the willingness to show up with others. This program can be adapted for any human-centered space.
